Careful handling of parts and attention to detail is a must.
Booking in and out for treatments and final despatch to customer.
Part Marking of components.
Basic computer skills an advantage.
Training will be given on company’s computer system.

NAKAMURA/MORI SEIKI CNC PROGRAMMER SETTER OPERATOR
Job Title: CNC Programmer Setter/Operator - Nakamura Mori Seiki

Holiday: 33 Days including bank holidays and company shutdowns.
Hours: 38 Hours (Days or Nightshift)
Job Purpose: To work for a busy subcontract engineering company, mainly in the Aerospace industry, in a permanent position subject to a trial period.
Key Tasks:
- Program and set-up Nakamura Mori Seiki multi-axis multi-tasking machines, including Fanuc based SL2500 and NL2000, and Nakamura NTY3.
- Produce components to required tolerances and quality standards, ensuring "right-first-time" results.
- Finish components to the highest quality standards.
- Comply with filling in job paperwork for each job and any other operational documentation.
- Report data for operational monitoring and production quality, positively impacting the "right-first-time" performance of the department.
- Adhere to procedures and regulations to maintain quality and safety standards.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Extensive experience in a machining environment with knowledge of modern technology and up to date manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to use appropriate measurement, analysis, and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document process improvements.
- Ability to manufacture precision components by fully understanding engineering drawings in terms of tolerances, surface finish, etc.
- Methodical and focused approach to work.
- Focused on quality with high attention to detail.
- Flexible and able to work well under pressure.
- Experience in programming using Fanuc controls.

Job Purpose
Working for a busy sub contract engineering company mainly Aerospace permanent position subject to trial period.
Key Tasks
- Program and setting STAR machines SR32 Models Producing components to required tolerances and quality standards, right first time Finishing components to the highest quality standards
- Ensure you are compliant with the filling in of the job paperwork with each job, and any other operational documentation.
- Report data as required for operational monitoring and all aspects of production quality to positively affect the right first time performance through the department.
- Maintain quality and safety standards by adhering to procedures and regulations.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Pay subject to skill/experience Day Shift 5 Days or Nightshift 4 Days M-T
Night time Basic Rate * 1.33
Overtime Basic Rate * 1.5
